Sample itinerary:

KITHNOS – SERIFOS – PAROS – DELOS – MYKONOS – KEA
The Saronic & the Cyclades
Whitewashed cubic houses
Key historical sites
Numerous tavernas, restaurants and shops along the way
~ 250 nautical miles

  • DAY 1. POROS
Arrive at marina in Alimos. Check-in. Time for shopping and organizational issues. After lunch set off to Poros Island. Its beaches are famous for its calm and protected waters which are mostly situated in the south part of the island, often hidden in small bays. They gather loads of cafes, tavernas, beach bars and restaurants. At Poros you can expect wind of 3 to 5 beaufort scale strength often coming from NE side. ~ 24 nautical miles
  • DAY 2. KITHNOS
Reaching Kithnos we recommend you stop at a unique isthmus located on the W side of the island. It’s a perfect spot for a sunset or just to have some rest in a nearby taverna just above the beach after all day long sail-time. The villages passed by along the coastline are very picturesque but in various architectural styles – for instance some of the roofs are flat like in the Cyclades while others are slanted and tiled. ~ 41 nautical miles
  • DAY 3. SERIFOS
In the morning head South until you reach charming and elegant Serifos Island. You will be amazed by its deep blue water colours and its pretty beaches. Serifos locals followed Cycladic architectural tradition by building blue and white houses making the whole island even more stunning. We recommend you moor in Livadi which is a tranquil, majestic town that is also perfect for hiking up into the hilltop town of Serifos, where you can have breathtaking views. Downhill, you can find lots of restaurants where you can provide yourself a refreshment after another great sailing day. ~ 18 nautical miles.
  • DAY 4. PAROS
This day try having a longer sail and reach Paros – the heart of the Cyclades, which is one of the mostly loved holiday destinations among Greek islands. Anchor nearby old port of Naoussa, where you can choose from a variety of cosy cafes and restaurants with delicious seafood. If you want to go for a further exploration of the island, visit Parikia with its whitewashed cubic houses and magnificent neoclassical mansions. Going for a random walk, prepare yourself to admire Byzantines footpaths linking traditional countryside with its unforgettably beautiful landscapes. ~ 38 nautical miles
  • DAY 5. MYKONOS
This time set off heading North to Delos. Its impressive town is well preserved enough to imagine how Greek life in the ancient times used to look like. Take a walk and visit its historical temples. After a break in Delos, go to Mykonos port for mooring. Apart from its architectural beauty and compolitanism, try water sports like windsurfing or kitesurfing there as Mykonos is widely called “Island of the Winds”. Do not forget about trying traditional Aegan cuisine like soft cheese seasoned with pepper called “pepper falvoured kopanisti”, local mezes (appetizers) or “louzes” which is cooked pork filet with spices. ~ 22 nautical miles
  • DAY 6. KEA
The next day sail to Kea – another beautiful island of the Aegan sea. Wake up early because you will have a lengthy sail on that day. Arriving Kea, quaint, welcoming port towns will ecourage you to relax in its cosy pubs and restaurants. What is interesting in the area, in Kea’s waters there is a wreck of Brittanic – a sister ship of Titanic which is a favourite one for diving ethusiasts. ~ 53 nautical miles
  • DAY 7. POROS
Go back to Poros and visit the Temple of Poseideon which is considered as one of the TOP 3 sightseeing spots in Greece. Try to anchor at the bay as close to the Temple as it is possible, so you can have a short way distance up. ~ 50 nautical miles
  • DAY 8. AEGINA
Wake up very early not to be late for check-out in the marina in Athens. ~ 31 nautical miles
